Job summary

Artha Energy Resources Ltd. invites an enthusiastic Jr. Engineer (Operations & Maintenance) to oversee solar rooftop plants in Surat. You will manage preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and coordination with OEMs to ensure high availability and energy yields.

The role requires 1–3 years in solar O&M, a Diploma or Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronics/renewable energy, and hands-on experience with PV rooftops, SCADA, and energy meters. Strong data analysis and reporting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in solar power plant operations and maintenance.
• Hands-on with rooftop solar PV systems, inverters, SCADA/monitoring systems, and energy meters.
• Knowledge of electrical testing instruments and troubleshooting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Supervise preventive maintenance schedules for solar modules, inverters, transformers, SCB/JB panels, and associated electrical equipment.
• Conduct fault diagnosis and rectification of inverters, strings, modules, cables, and monitoring systems.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Engineer to manage the performance, reliability, and maintenance of solar rooftop power plants. The role involves preventive and breakdown maintenance, coordination with OEMs and vendors, performance analysis, reporting, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with EHS and quality standards.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervise and verify preventive maintenance schedules for solar modules, inverters, transformers, SCB/JB panels, and associated electrical equipment.
• Conduct fault diagnosis and rectification of inverters, strings, modules, cables, and monitoring systems.
• Lead breakdown maintenance activities and ensure minimum plant downtime.
• Coordinate with OEMs for warranty claims, AMC execution, spare parts, and technical support.
• Monitor plant generation performance and identify performance losses through data analysis.
• Verify module cleaning activities and maintain cleaning schedules for optimum energy generation.
• Monitor Joint Meter Readings (JMR) and energy accounting records.
• Manage handover and takeover of projects in line with company procedures.
• Track site issues and ensure timely closure with internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain healthy relationships with customers, contractors, communities, and suppliers.
• Manage spare inventory, manpower deployment, and maintenance budgets.
• Conduct energy audits and implement corrective actions for performance improvement.
• Prepare MIS reports, maintenance logs, incident reports, and performance dashboards.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, statutory requirements, and EHS practices.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives and industry best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Renewable Energy Engineering, or related discipline.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in solar power plant operations and maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with rooftop solar PV systems, inverters, SCADA/monitoring systems, and energy meters.
• Knowledge of electrical testing instruments and troubleshooting techniques.
