We are looking for a Junior Engineer to join our growing construction team. In this entry-level role, you will assist in the design, planning, and execution of construction projects. You will work closely with engineers, project managers, and construction teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Project Support & Coordination:
• Assist engineers in preparing and reviewing project plans, designs, and drawings
• Support project teams in executing construction activities according to project schedules
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors for the timely delivery of materials and resources
• Technical Assistance:
• Help conduct site inspections and surveys to ensure construction activities comply with design specifications
• Assist in identifying and solving engineering problems as they arise during construction
• Provide support in the development of engineering solutions for construction challenges
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Assist in the preparation and review of technical documentation such as drawings, specifications, and reports
• Maintain up-to-date project documentation, including site reports, change orders, and progress tracking
• Prepare and update project progress reports for internal use and client communication
• Quality Control & Safety:
• Assist in ensuring that all work meets required safety standards and complies with local building codes and regulations
• Conduct inspections to ensure that construction materials, equipment, and work quality meet project requirements
• Assist in identifying and mitigating safety hazards on construction sites
• Cost & Schedule Tracking:
• Assist in monitoring project schedules and budgets, ensuring that timelines and costs are adhered to
• Support engineers in cost estimation, tracking resource allocation, and ensuring efficient use of materials and labor
• Learning & Development:
• Continuously develop technical and project management skills by working closely with experienced engineers and construction managers
• Participate in training sessions, workshops, and site visits to enhance knowledge of construction practices and industry standards

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field

Experience:

• 0-2 years of experience in the construction or engineering field (internships, co-op programs, or related academic experience is a plus)

Skills:

• Basic understanding of construction processes, engineering principles, and materials
• Familiarity with engineering software (eg, AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project) is an advantage
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with others
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
