Job summary

Elegrow Technology is seeking an experienced BIM engineer to develop 3D models for substation and switchyard layouts. You will model equipment, structures, and cable routing, and produce 2D drawings from the 3D models for client submission and site execution.

The role requires 2+ years in electrical, civil, or mechanical engineering with BIM/3D software exposure and collaboration with design teams. Surrounded by a skilled engineering group, you’ll contribute to project standards and coordination

Qualifications

• Diploma/BE/BTech in Electrical, Civil or Mechanical engineering or ITI in Draughtsman considered.
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant 3D modeling experience in substation or industrial projects.
• Exposure to BIM/3D software and coordination workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D BIM models for substation and switchyard electrical layouts.
• Model electrical equipment, structures, cable routing, and related components.
• Prepare 2D drawings and GA views from 3D models.

Job Description

• Develop 3D BIM models for substation and switchyard electrical layouts.
  
• Model electrical equipment, structures, cable routing, and related components.

• Work with MicroStation and Bentley OpenUtilities Substation (OUS).
  
• Perform basic clash detection and model coordination.
  
• Review engineering drawings and incorporate design changes into BIM models.
  
• Coordinate with Design Engineers and Design Coordinators.
  
• Maintain accurate and updated project models as per project standards.
  
• Support preparation of drawings for client submission and site execution.
  

Requirements

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
  
• ITI in Draughtsman trade may also be considered.
  
• 2+ years of relevant 3D modeling experience in substation, switchyard, or industrial plant projects.
