Job summary

Role Description

The Jr. Architect will support project teams in developing architectural concepts, detailed drawings, and design documentation for a variety of commercial, institutional, and high-performance spaces. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with design development, preparing CAD/BIM drawings and 3D visualizations, participating in design reviews, and coordinating with senior architects, consultants, and vendors to ensure design intent is maintained. The role involves contributing to material selection, design presentations, and basic site coordination activities, as well as helping integrate sustainable and performance-focused design principles into each project. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, requiring close collaboration with the studio team and active involvement(may include travel to site offices) throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Strong foundational knowledge with 1 to 4 years of experience in Architectural Design, with the ability to translate concepts into clear drawings and documentation.
• Understanding of design-related Software Development and Integration in the context of architectural tools (e.g., CAD/BIM platforms, parametric or AI-assisted design workflows).
• Basic Project Management skills, including task prioritization, time management, and coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) and familiarity with 3D visualization and rendering tools.
• Degree in Architecture (B.Arch or equivalent) from a recognized institution and eligibility/interest in pursuing professional registration.
• Awareness of sustainable design principles, building codes, and industry standards, with an interest in IGBC/GRIHA-aligned practices.
• Registration with Council of Architecture (COA) is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and openness to feedback in a fast-paced, design-focused studio.
