Job summary

Kasturi Housing in Pune, India, seeks a Junior Architect to support the Architecture & Design team in planning, development, and execution of luxury residential and commercial real estate. You will work with senior architects and cross-functional teams to ensure designs are practical and aligned with project requirements.

The role requires 2–3 years of relevant experience, a B.Arch. degree, and strong AutoCAD skills. Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, Lumion or V-Ray is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch.) from a recognised institute.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience, preferably with a real estate developer or architectural consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, Lumion /V-Ray will be an advantage.
• Good coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of architectural drawings, layouts, plans, elevations, sections, and details.
• Prepare and modify drawings using AutoCAD as per project requirements.
• Assist senior architects in design development and coordination of projects.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, landscape, interior, and other consultants.
• Review architectural drawings and ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Assist in preparing working drawings and construction details.
• Conduct site visits to understand site conditions and monitor design implementation.
• Coordinate with site and execution teams for design-related queries and clarifications.
• Ensure drawings are updated as per revisions and maintain proper documentation.
• Assist in checking drawings received from consultants and identifying discrepancies.
• Keep updated with relevant building regulations, development norms, and industry practices.
