Job summary

Kasturi Housing is seeking a Junior Architect to join our Architecture & Design team in Pune. You will support planning, development and execution of residential and commercial projects, working closely with senior architects and cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of relevant experience, a B.Arch degree, and proficiency in AutoCAD, with knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, and 3D visualization tools considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch.) from a recognized institute.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in real estate development or architectural consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Proficiency in SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, and 3D visualization tools is a plus.
• Good understanding of architectural drawings, materials, and construction practices.
• Strong coordination, communication, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing architectural drawings, layouts, plans, elevations, sections and details.
• Prepare and modify drawings using AutoCAD as per project requirements.
• Assist senior architects in design development and project coordination.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, landscape, interior, and other consultants.
• Review drawings for accuracy and consistency.
• Monitor site conditions and ensure design implementation.
• Keep drawings updated with revisions and maintain documentation.
• Identify discrepancies in drawings received from consultants.
• Stay updated with building regulations and industry practices.

Job Summary

The candidate will work closely with senior architects, project teams, and other departments to ensure designs are practical, accurate, and aligned with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of architectural drawings, layouts, plans, elevations, sections, and details.
• Prepare and modify drawings using AutoCAD as per project requirements.
• Assist senior architects in design development and coordination of projects.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, landscape, interior, and other consultants.
• Review architectural drawings and ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Assist in preparing working drawings and construction details.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch.) from a recognized institute.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience, preferably with a real estate developer or architectural consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Knowledge of Sketch Up, Revit, Photoshop, Lumion /V-Ray or other 3D visualization software will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of architectural drawings and construction details.
• Knowledge of materials, finishes, and basic construction practices.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
