Job summary

Larsen & Toubro Ltd, Powai, Mumbai, is seeking a senior Enterprise Datacenter Networking professional to manage, secure, and optimize datacenter infrastructure across multiple locations. The role emphasizes Cisco ACI, WAN/LAN design, and collaboration with IT operations and security teams.

Minimum 5+ years of experience in Enterprise Datacenter networking is required; strong vendor governance and project leadership will be essential to drive transformational initiatives within the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent (CS/IT preferred).
• Minimum 5+ years in Enterprise Datacenter Networking.
• Knowledge of Cisco ACI, Routing, Switching, and Wi-Fi technologies.
• Familiarity with ITIL and ISO 27001 standards is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Network Management for Datacenter & Locations (Campus, Branch Office, Yards, etc.).
• Lead transformation and implementation projects for various L&T businesses with a focus on Datacenter Networking (Cisco ACI, Routing, Switching, Wi-Fi).
• Ensure robust WAN, LAN, P2P, and Link infrastructure to support diverse business needs.
• Collaborate with IT operations and business teams to meet and exceed SLA/OLA commitments.
• Identify and implement optimized, cost-effective solutions while managing network procurement for Corporate Datacenter.
• Lead and mentor a team of networking professionals for timely issue resolution and service delivery improvement.
• Drive governance and performance management across multiple ISP partners; optimize costs and automate invoicing where possible.
• Champion Secure by Design by ensuring security guidelines are followed; act as SPOC between Operations and Security teams.

Job Responsibilities

1)Key Responsibilities

• Network Management for Datacenter & Locations (Campus, Branch Office, Yards, etc.)
• Lead transformation and implementation projects for various L&T businesses with a strong focus on Datacenter Networking, including Cisco ACI, Routing, Switching, and Wi-Fi technologies.
• Ensure a robust and scalable WAN, LAN, P2P, and Link infrastructure to support the diverse needs of L&Ts businesses.
• Collaborate with multiple IT operations and business teams to ensure SLA/OLA commitments are met and consistently exceed customer expectations.
• Identify and implement optimized, cost-effective solutions to meet business requirements while managing network procurement for the Corporate Datacenter.
• Lead and mentor a team of networking professionals in a dynamic environment, ensuring timely resolution of issues and continuous improvement in service delivery.

2)ISP Management

• Drive governance and performance management across multiple ISP partners to ensure a robust and reliable link infrastructure with adherence to SLAs.
• Innovate to maximize the value of investments in ISP services and optimize the cost of doing business.
• Ensure accurate invoicing from ISP partners and explore opportunities to automate billing processes for efficiency.

3)Network Security

Champion the Secure by Design principle by ensuring all network implementations conform to security guidelines and leverage innovative, out-of-the-box solutions.

• Act as a bridge between Operations and Security teams to ensure security is embedded in every aspect of IT systems.
• Drive governance across technical and business teams to ensure optimized utilization of Datacenter equipment.
• Enforce strict adherence to hardening guidelines, review SOPs and architectures, and identify opportunities for improved security and performance.
• Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) between the Operations Team and Internal/External Auditors, ensuring timely closure of audit observations.

4)Datacenter Operations

• Oversee the operations of Corporate Datacenters across critical locations, ensuring 24x7 availability and reliability.
• Innovate to ensure sustainable Datacenter operations while adhering to Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) norms.
• Ensure the physical and logical security of Datacenters hosting critical business information for L&T.

Candidate Profile

1)Educational Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering (preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields).

2) Professional Experience

Minimum 5+ years of experience in an Enterprise Datacenter setup with hands-on experience in:

• Routing and Switching (Cisco preferred).
• Managing Cisco ACI environments.
• Firewalls and Load Balancers.
• ISP relationship management and governance.

3)Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Cisco ACI, Routing, Switching, and Wi-Fi technologies.
• Familiarity with ITIL and ISO 2701 0 standards is mandatory.
• Exposure to security audits and ISO compliance processes.
• Knowledge of Virtualization, Active Directory, Databases, and Azure is an added advantage.

4)Certifications

• Certifications in Networking and Datacenter technologies are highly preferred (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, Cisco ACI Specialist, VMware VCP, etc.).
