Job summary

Tekskills is seeking an Application Support Specialist focused on SAP Data Services (BODS) Production Support. You will monitor and troubleshoot ETL workflows, manage production incidents, and drive RCAs with cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates have strong SQL, ETL troubleshooting, and knowledge of SAP BODS, Informatica IICS, and monitoring tools. Banking domain experience is a plus; willingness to work 24x7 shifts is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor ETL job flows and production jobs in SAP BODS environment.
• Identify and fix production issues, coordinate with development teams for remediation.
• Prepare RCA documents and drive incident/change management processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve data quality issues and respond to critical production issues.
• Provide support for daily, monthly, and quarterly loads.

Job Title: Application support Specialist

Role: SAP Data services (BODS) Production support Engineer

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a motivated application support engineer with a passion for learning new skills and expand knowledge on multiple ETL tools. As an application support engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in various projects on ETL flows. You will work closely with a team of experienced professionals to monitor the job identify and fix the issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Looking for a candidate with strong knowledge on data warehousing concepts and SQL.
• Should have proficiency in troubleshooting the ETL processes, monitoring the batch jobs, resolving the Prod job errors.
• Do a complete analysis and come up with RCA document on need basis.
• Work with internal stakeholders to resolve data quality issues, collaborate with the development team, providing support for critical production issues.
• Should have knowledge of incident management,Change Management process.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve the issues.
• Work individually in Production environment.

Skill Requirements:

• SAP BODS client tools with basic hands-on on windows, Unix, shell scripts.
• Good knowledge of SQL queries , Informatica IICS
• Able to support on daily, Monthly and quarterly loads along with change implementation.
• Monitoring tools like ESP, Autosys is a plus. Should have hands-on experience in SNOW or any other ticketing tool.
• Strong understanding of project architecture
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lead and mentor a team and upskill as per the project requirement.
• Ready to work in shifts (24*7).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Account Context:

• Experience in Banking domain.
• Willing to learn multiple technologies like Informatica PC, IDQ, MDM, Snowflake etc.
• Should be willing to work on complex job flows.
