Job summary

EGIS India Consulting Engineers Pvt. Ltd is seeking a senior Quantity Surveyor (MEP) to support airport and aviation projects in Gurugram. You will handle MEP take-offs, BOQ preparation, and cost planning across HVAC, electrical, ELV, and plumbing systems.

The role requires 8–12 years in MEP QS or cost management, with experience in large infra projects. Proficiency in Excel, AutoCAD, Revit/BIM and cost tools is essential. onsite work in Gurugram and strong stakeholder skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline.
• 8–12 years of experience in MEP Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, or Tendering.
• Experience in airport, aviation, transportation, commercial, or large infrastructure projects preferred.

Responsibilities

We have been retained by our client “EGIS India Consulting Engineers Pvt. Ltd “to conduct interviewing service for their position “Quantity Surveyor (MEP) Gurugram

Role Purpose

Support the delivery of airport and aviation infrastructure projects by providing MEP quantity surveying, cost planning, tendering, and commercial advisory services during design and procurement stages, while assisting project teams with post-tender cost control and change management.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Tender / Design Phase

• Prepare MEP quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) from design drawings, BIM models, and specifications.
• Develop cost estimates and cost plans for HVAC, Electrical, ELV, Fire Protection, Plumbing, and Utility systems.
• Support value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.
• Prepare Engineer's Estimates and tender documentation.
• Review tender submissions and conduct commercial bid evaluations.
• Prepare tender analysis reports and recommendations for award.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary design teams to align project scope, budget, and procurement strategy.

Post-Tender Support

• Review contractor variations, claims, and change orders.
• Assess commercial impact of design changes and scope modifications.
• Monitor project costs against approved budgets.
• Support contract administration and commercial reporting.
• Assist project managers in cost forecasting and risk identification.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline.
• 8-12 years of experience in MEP Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, or Tendering.
• Experience in airport, aviation, transportation, commercial, or large infrastructure projects preferred.
• Exposure to consultancy/project management environments is desirable.
