Job summary

Infosys Consulting in Maharashtra seeks a JDE Sales & Distribution specialist to support problem definition, estimation, diagnosis, and solution design across project phases. You will evaluate alternatives, build proofs of concept, and define to-be processes aligned with client needs.

You will help configure solutions, diagnose root causes, and propose best-fit alternatives while contributing to broader client initiatives and data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of knowledge and understanding of the JDE Sales and Distribution module.
• Experience with system configuration of core JDE modules: Sales Order Management, Advanced Pricing, Inventory Management, and Procurement.
• Experience in process optimization for O2C cycles.
• Experience in full-lifecycle implementations, version upgrades, and data migration from blueprint to post-go-live support.
• Experience in testing & validation, including UAT and SIT.
• Cross-functional collaboration with developers and CNC/Database teams for reports, interfaces, and JDE Orchestrator integrations.

Responsibilities

• Actively aid the consulting team through problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation and design and deployment.
• Explore alternatives to recommended solutions based on literature surveys and vendor information, building POCs.
• Create requirement specifications and define to-be processes and detailed functional designs.
• Support configuring solution requirements on products; diagnose issues and shortlist solutions.
• Contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives delivering high-quality value adding solutions for clients.
• Identify business challenges with clients and help refine, analyze, and structure relevant data.

• Process Optimization: Analyzing client workflows, identifying product gaps, and recommending best-practice solutions to enhance the O2C cycle.

• As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role would be to actively aid the consulting team in different phases of the project including problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation and design and deployment
• You will explore the alternatives to the recommended solutions based on research that includes literature surveys, information available in public domains, vendor evaluation information, etc. and build POCs
• You will create requirement specifications from the business needs, define the to-be-processes and detailed functional designs based on requirements.
• You will support configuring solution requirements on the products; understand if any issues, diagnose the root-cause of such issues, seek clarifications, and then identify and shortlist solution alternatives
