Job summary

Infosys in India is seeking an experienced JDE CNC consultant to join our consulting team. You will participate in problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution design and deployment, and work with the team to build proofs of concept and drive delivery across regions.

The role requires strong CNC knowledge, database skills (SQL, DB2, Oracle), experience across XE to 9.2 releases, and ability to collaborate with global teams on complex international projects.

Qualifications

• At least 2+ years experience in JDE CNC implementation and support
• Strong knowledge of databases (SQL, DB2, Oracle)
• Experience in Database activities w.r.t to JDE is a plus
• Sound knowledge of interoperability and business services
• Operational knowledge across releases XE, 8.0, 8.11 SP1, 8.12, 9.0, 9.1, 9.2
• Strong CNC knowledge: package build, deployment, CNC troubleshooting, ESU/ASU installation, configuration management
• Knowledge about third party tools integration with JDE
• Good knowledge of JDE activities on AIX, AS400, Linux and Windows
• Experience in complex international projects with a global team

Responsibilities

• As part of Infosys consulting team, actively aid the consulting team in problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution design and deployment
• Explore alternatives to recommended solutions based on research and build POCs
• Create requirement specifications, define to-be processes and detailed functional designs
• Support configuring solution requirements, diagnose issues, and shortlist alternatives
• Contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives delivering high quality value to customers
• Collaborate with clients to identify business challenges and refine relevant data
• Stay aware of latest technologies and industry trends
• Demonstrate logical thinking, problem solving, and teamwork

A day in the life of an Infoscion

• As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role would be to actively aid the consulting team in different phases of the project including problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation and design and deployment
• You will explore the alternatives to the recommended solutions based on research that includes literature surveys, information available in public domains, vendor evaluation information, etc. and build POCs
• You will create requirement specifications from the business needs, define the to-be-processes and detailed functional designs based on requirements.
• You will support configuring solution requirements on the products; understand if any issues, diagnose the root-cause of such issues, seek clarifications, and then identify and shortlist solution alternatives
