Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior JD Edwards CNC Administrator to lead end-to-end JDE CNC activities, upgrades, and cloud deployments. You will work with JDE Tools, WebLogic/WebSphere middleware, and orchestrator technologies to ensure high availability and optimal performance.

You will collaborate with DBAs to optimize database queries across Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2, while implementing robust monitoring and security practices in a production support environment.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of experience in JD Edwards CNC roles.
• Experience in production support and managed services environments.
• Knowledge of HA/DR configurations.
• Experience with JDE upgrades (Tools/Applications).
• Familiarity with JDE security and API integrations.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end CNC activities including installation, configuration, and maintenance of the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 architecture.
• Plan and execute Tools Release upgrades (9.2.x) and manage deployments.
• Deploy and manage JDE environments on Cloud Infrastructure; coordinate with infra teams.
• Implement monitoring and predictive maintenance for performance and kernel health.
• Administer JDE security, roles, and user profiles.
• Configure AIS Server architecture and Orchestrator; support modern JDE technologies.
• Coordinate with DBAs to optimize queries and manage databases across Oracle/SQL Server/DB2.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end CNC activities including installation, configuration, and maintenance of the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 architecture (Deployment Server, Enterprise Server, JAS, AIS, WebLogic and BSSV).
• Plan and execute Tools Release upgrades (9.2.x), apply ESUs/ASUs, and manage routine package builds and deployments.
• Deploy and manage JD Edwards environments natively on Cloud Infrastructure. Coordinate with infrastructure teams to ensure optimal resource allocation and server performance.
• Implement and refine system monitoring to track CPU, memory, database performance, and kernel health, moving from reactive troubleshooting to predictive maintenance.
• Administer JDE security, including role-based access control, setting up user profiles, and defining task views and menu filtering.
• Configure and support modern JDE technologies, specifically AIS Server architecture and Orchestrator.
• Coordinate closely with Database Administrators (DBAs) to manage tablespaces, optimize database queries, and troubleshoot data blockages across SQL Server or Oracle environments.
