The JC – Anaesthesia with CTVS supports anaesthesia and perioperative care for patients undergoing cardiothoracic and vascular surgery. The includes assisting with preoperative assessments, preparing anaesthesia equipment, monitoring patients during procedures, supporting postoperative care, and coordinating with the surgical and critical care teams. Responsibilities are performed according to the clinicians qualifications, training, authorization, and the supervision arrangements established by the hospital.

• Assist in assessing patients scheduled for cardiothoracic and vascular surgery.
• Review patient history and relevant investigation reports as directed.
• Support pre-anaesthetic preparation under senior anaesthesiologist supervision.
• Prepare anaesthesia workstations, monitoring devices, airway equipment, and medications.
• Check equipment functionality and availability of emergency supplies.
• Assist with anaesthesia induction and maintenance according to training and authorization.
• Monitor vital signs and haemodynamic parameters during surgery.
