Job summary

Capgemini in Gurugram is seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer with 9-12 years of hands-on experience to lead backend projects. You will work on core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices, designing scalable, high-performance systems and delivering enterprise-grade applications.

You will code actively, participate in system design discussions, and collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and QA teams while adhering to Agile practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 9-12 years of hands-on Core Java/J2EE development.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices.
• Experience building REST APIs.
• Knowledge of OOPs, design patterns, and data structures.
• Understanding of multithreading and concurrency in Java.
• Experience in system design and scalable applications.
• Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes (basic), and AWS.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and Git.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
