Job summary

Tekskills Inc. is seeking a Senior Java Architect to design and build scalable enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot. You will define architecture for distributed microservices, design RESTful and SOAP services, and lead cloud deployments while mentoring teams.

You will ensure security, implement CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate across business, QA, DevOps, and infrastructure groups in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Java development and architecture; 15+ preferred.
• Proficient in Core Java 1.8+ and Spring Boot 2.7+.
• Strong design of microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience with RESTful and SOAP services; OAuth/JWT/SAML auth.
• Solid DB knowledge (RDBMS and NoSQL) and cloud deployment.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, high-performance enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Define application architecture and system design for distributed microservices.
• Design and implement RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Lead cloud deployment activities and support development teams.
• Design secure applications using authentication and authorization protocols.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Review application performance and recommend optimization strategies.
• Mentor development teams and conduct architecture and code reviews.
• Collaborate with business, QA, DevOps, and infrastructure teams.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security best practices, and Agile methodologies.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience (15+ years preferred) in Java development and architecture.
• Strong expertise in Core Java (1.8+).
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot (2.7+).
• Experience designing Microservices Architecture.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful and SOAP Web Services.
• Experience with authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT, SAML, OAuth2, etc.).
• Strong database knowledge (RDBMS and NoSQL).
• Expertise in application architecture and system design.
• Experience with cloud deployment and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
