Java Architect
Primary skills: Technology->Java->Springboot
Preferred Skills: Experience with serverless architectures and cloud-native development. Exposure to API Management, Service Mesh, and Observability platforms. Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible). Experience in Agile, SAFe, and large-scale enterprise delivery environments. Relevant Java, Cloud, or Architecture certifications will be an added advantage.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's Degree: B.E / B.Tech or equivalent Master's Degree: MCA / M.Tech / M.Sc or equivalent (preferred)
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned technology leader capable of architecting enterprise-grade Java solutions, driving cloud transformation initiatives, and enabling engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and future-ready applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end architecture for enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Cloud technologies.
- Design scalable, resilient, and secure systems aligned with business and technology objectives.
- Lead architecture reviews, design discussions, technology evaluations, and proof-of-concept initiatives.
- Drive application modernization, cloud migration, and digital transformation programs.
- Establish architecture standards, coding practices, governance frameworks, and technical best practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, engineering teams, and project managers to deliver strategic solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor development teams across multiple projects.
- Ensure application performance, security, scalability, availability, and maintainability.
- Guide DevOps, CI/CD, observability, and automation initiatives across the engineering landscape.
Required Skills
- 9-15 years of experience in software development with strong expertise in Java 8+, Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Hibernate/JPA.
- Extensive experience in Microservices Architecture, RESTful APIs, Distributed Systems, and Event-Driven Architecture.
- Strong understanding of Design Patterns, SOLID Principles, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and Enterprise Integration Patterns.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or JMS.
- Strong expertise in database design and optimization across Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Experience with DevOps tools and practices including Git, Jenkins, Maven, SonarQube, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD Pipelines.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks, authentication, authorization, and secure application development.
- Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
