Job summary

Vayam Technologies seeks a senior Java Architect to lead a large-scale enterprise applications team in Delhi. You will own backend and frontend architecture, APIs, and database design, guiding development with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.

With 10+ years of experience and strong leadership, you will coordinate with SysAdmin, DBA, and network teams, enforce coding standards, plan sprints, and drive production issue resolutions while mentoring peers.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess B.Tech / B.E. / M.C.A. in Computer Science/Information Technology.
• 10+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, and system design.
• Certifications: Oracle Java Certification (OCPJP), AWS Solutions Architect, Spring Professional Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead the whole team including backend, full stack, QA etc; act as SPOC for technical decisions.
• Architect the overall application design (backend, frontend structure, APIs, database).
• Review and approve technical solution design documents.
• Perform code reviews and enforce coding standards.
• Guide developers on Java, Spring Boot best practices.
• Plan sprints, prioritize tasks, ensure deadlines.
• Evaluate system performance and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate with SysAdmin, DBA, Network teams for deployments and infrastructure.
• Handle production issues, root-cause analysis.
• Design and develop the software as per new requirements while refactoring the legacy code.
• Mentor team members, identify and groom potential leaders, ensure cross-training on critical components.
• Ensure all technical designs, architecture decisions and release processes are properly documented and updated in standard SOP formats.
