Job summary

Maneva Consulting Pvt. Ltd seeks an experienced Java Developer to design, build, and maintain microservices-based applications using Java 17 and Spring Boot.

You will work on scalable RESTful services, and collaborate with cloud, data streaming, and operations teams across Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Chennai. The role emphasizes real-time data processing with Kafka, system monitoring with Splunk, Dynatrace, and Kibana, and strong focus on CI/CD pipelines, automation, and agile delivery.

Qualifications

• 6–15 years of Java development experience with Spring Boot.
• Design, develop and maintain microservices-based applications.
• Experience with RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of Kafka for real-time data processing.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git.
• Monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace and Kibana for application performance.
• Database knowledge (Oracle DB or equivalent).
• Cloud familiarity (AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI).
• Agile development practices including TDD/BDD and Selenium.
• Maven for dependency management.

Responsibilities

Job Title - Java Developer

Experience - 6 - 15 Years

Location - Bangalore / Hyderabad / Chennai

Notice - Immediate to 30 Days

Requirement:

• Demonstrate good hands-on coding experience in Java (preferably Java 17) and Spring Boot, with the ability to design, develop, and maintain microservices-based applications.
• Maintain RESTful APIs and web services, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Proactively monitor OCP/Kafka processes and alerts, identifying and resolving issues before they impact business operations.
• Knowledge of Kafka (including Kafka Streams) for real-time data processing and integration is beneficial.
• Experienced with basic software development tools, source code management, and process automation like CI/CD Pipelines and Git.
• Similar Monitoring Tool for troubleshoot and diagnose issues using tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, and Kibana, with a strong focus on application-level debugging and performance tuning.
• Oracle DB is beneficial or any DB knowledge.
• Understanding one of the public and private cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure, OCP) will be beneficial.

• Experience in providing senior management with regular updates regarding feature development and support.
• Manage service support and Operations Management to support ensuring high availability and reliability of services.
• Mentor, guide, and lead a team of engineers in incident, problem, and change management, fostering a culture of technical excellence and ownership.
• Display excellent interpersonal and team-working skills.
• Manage daily incidents and alerts, including log maintenance, review, and root cause analysis.
• Report impacts, perform reconciliation, and engage stakeholders effectively during incident follow-ups.
• Liaise with vendors for incident resolution and process improvements.
• Review and manage change requests, participate in CAB discussions, and ensure smooth change implementation.
• Participate in technical discussion with the peers.
• Demonstrated commitment to supporting Rota schedules subjected to Incidents and Change.
• Lead BAU events such as Disaster Recovery (DR), Penetration Testing, and third-party change coordination.
