Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional Java development experience.

As a Lead / Architect, you will play a role in designing, developing, and overseeing thearchitecture for large-scale Java-based applications, ensuring they are scalable, robust, andalign with business objectives. This leadership role includes guiding development teams,mentoring junior developers, performing code reviews, selecting technologies, andcollaborating with stakeholders to meet enterprise standards and deliver high-qualitysoftware solutions. The architect/lead also stays current with industry trends to driveinnovation and maintain architectural integrity.

Requirements

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications using Java 8 & higher,Servlet, and JSP.
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code with JUnit.
• Handle XML processing for configuration and data manipulation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliverscalable solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to team members.
• Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.
• Participate in Peer reviews and ensure quality deliverables.
• Optimize performance, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure system stability.
• Working with build tools such as ANT is a plus.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in Java development.
• Insurance domain experience is a strong plus.
• Proven experience in leading teams or designing enterprise application architecture.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
