You will lead end-to-end full-stack development, mentor a team, and drive scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices while building responsive UI with ReactJS.

The ideal candidate has 7-9 years of hands-on development, strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and ReactJS, and proven experience as an official Team Lead in a GCC environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Java Full Stack Developers, providing technical guidance and support.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.
• Develop robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design, develop, and integrate Microservices-based architectures.
• Build responsive and user-friendly web applications using ReactJS.
• Work across the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, design principles, and best practices.
• Drive technical discussions and contribute to architecture and solution design.
• Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, architects, QA teams, DevOps engineers, and other technology teams.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
• Identify opportunities for performance optimization, automation, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software while following Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Lead Java Full Stack Developer to join our technology team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have 7-9 years of hands-on software development experience, strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and ReactJS, and proven experience working as an official Team Lead.

The candidate will be responsible for leading a development team, designing scalable applications, driving technical solutions, and contributing to end-to-end full-stack development in a high-performing GCC environment.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7-9 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot.
• Proven experience developing Microservices and distributed applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with ReactJS.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, API integration, and web services.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, Java Collections, Exception Handling, Multithreading, and Java 8+ features.
• Experience with database technologies such as SQL/relational databases.
• Good understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and scalable application development.
• Experience with Git/version control and modern software development practices.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Leadership Requirements

• Mandatory: Candidate must have officially worked as a Team Lead / Technical Lead.
• Proven experience leading a development team and managing technical deliverables.
• Experience in task allocation, technical mentoring, code reviews, and delivery coordination.
• Ability to make technical decisions and resolve complex development challenges.
• Strong stakeholder management and team collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in a GCC / Global Capability Centre / enterprise technology environment.
• Exposure to AWS/Azure/GCP or other cloud platforms.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Jenkins, or similar DevOps tools.
• Familiarity with Kafka or other messaging/event-driven technologies.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and engineering best practices.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a technically strong Java Full Stack Developer who has progressed into an official Team Lead role and remains comfortable with hands-on development. The candidate should demonstrate strong ownership, leadership, communication, architecture, and problem-solving capabilities.
