Job summary

Jobtailor in India seeks a senior full-stack Java developer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications. You will build backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA, and create RESTful APIs and microservices.

Work with Angular or React to develop responsive web applications, integrate frontend with backend APIs, and collaborate with product owners, QA teams, and other developers to deliver high-quality software.

Qualifications

6-12 years of professional software development experience
Strong proficiency in Core Java and Java 8/11/17+
Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate
Strong understanding of microservices architecture and REST APIs
Experience with Angular, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases
Experience with Git and build tools such as Maven or Gradle
Knowledge of JUnit, Mockito, SonarQube, or similar tools
Good understanding of Agile development methodologies
Knowledge of the insurance domain
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps preferred
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP is an advantage
Experience with Kafka or other messaging platforms is good to have
Experience with Redis or caching technologies is good to have
Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, and application security is good to have
Knowledge of Python is preferred
Experience in cloud-native application development is good to have
Experience mentoring junior developers and providing technical guidance is good to have

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full-stack applications
