Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a skilled Java + AWS Developer to join our Hyderabad team. You will build scalable, cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS, delivering secure and high-performance solutions in a cloud-first environment.

You will design RESTful APIs, contribute to microservices, and work closely with DevOps, QA, and Product teams to ensure robust and reliable software delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Java 8+, Spring Boot and REST APIs.
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM.
• Familiarity with Microservices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Good understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, DynamoDB).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and version control (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket).
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have strong backend development expertise using Java and Spring Boot, along with hands-on experience in designing and deploying applications on AWS. You will be responsible for building scalable, secure, and high-performance applications in a cloud-native environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS using services like EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, etc.
• Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services
• Optimize application performance and ensure scalability and reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and Product Management
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and debugging
• Ensure secure coding practices and compliance with cloud security standards
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS .

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Java 8+, Spring Boot, and REST APIs, Strong problem solving with DSA
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, etc.
• Familiarity with Microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes is a plus)
