Job summary

Mphasis is seeking a skilled Java developer with AWS cloud expertise to design and build high-performance microservices. You will develop cloud-native solutions using AWS services, implement RESTful APIs, and participate in agile delivery.

The role requires hands-on Java/Spring Boot experience and strong DevOps practices through Jenkins or GitHub Actions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable software, write clean code, and continuously optimize deployments

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Expertise in AWS (Lambda, IAM, ECS, CloudWatch, S3, EC2, RDS, etc.).
• Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a high-performing team.
• Good understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases and data design.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Certifications (Preferred): AWS Certified Developer / Java Certification.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality software solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for internal and external systems.
• Work within Agile frameworks (Scrum / Kanban) to deliver features in sprints.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and performance optimization.
• Ensure CI/CD pipeline efficiency and smooth deployment using tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex production issues in distributed systems.
• Stay updated with latest Java and AWS advancements to suggest improvements and optimize system design.
