Job summary

Bounteous in Bengaluru is seeking a skilled Java developer to design, develop, test, and deploy scalable enterprise applications. You will build RESTful APIs, microservices, and integrate with databases and external services.

Responsibilities include code quality, reviews, debugging, and performance optimization within an Agile team, collaborating with Product Owners, QA, and DevOps across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Java (8/11/17+).
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA.
• Strong experience in Microservices Architecture and REST API development.
• Good understanding of Hibernate/JPA and ORM concepts.
• Experience with SQL databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL and query optimization.
• Proficiency with Git, Maven, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Good understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
• Experience with messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of Redis caching.
• Familiarity with OAuth2 and JWT security.
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools such as Splunk, ELK, Grafana, or Prometheus.
• Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
