Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based software solutions for network management and monitoring
• Implement and integrate SNMP v1/v2/v3 protocols for device monitoring and control
• Work with MIBs, OIDs, and Trap Handling using SNMP4J or relevant SNMP libraries
• Develop REST APIs using Spring/Spring Boot for data access and management
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving coding standards
• Document software designs and implementations
• Work in a Linux environment, utilizing shell scripts and commands for development and deployment

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 4 to 8 years of experience in Java software development
• Strong hands‑on experience in Core Java, Collections, Multithreading, and OOPs concepts
• Experience with SNMP v1/v2/v3, MIBs, OIDs, Trap Handling, and SNMP4J or relevant SNMP libraries
• Good understanding of Networking concepts: IP, TCP/UDP, Routing basics
• Experience in Spring / Spring Boot and REST APIs development
• Hands‑on experience in a Linux environment (commands, shell scripts)
• Experience with NMS/EMS applications or network monitoring systems is highly desirable
• Knowledge of protocol debugging tools (Wireshark, tcpdump, SNMP testers)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
