Job summary

Vrinda International is seeking an experienced Java Cloud Architect in Hyderabad, India (Relocation Considered) to lead design and implementation of scalable, secure cloud-native solutions within our IT Services division.

You will bridge advanced software engineering with cloud infrastructure, mentor teams on cloud migration, and ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and robust security across AWS-based architectures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six years of professional experience in software development and cloud architecture.
• At least five years working with AWS is mandatory.

Responsibilities

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Cloud Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native solutions within our IT Services division. This pivotal role involves architecting complex systems that leverage modern cloud technologies to drive business innovation and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will bridge the gap between advanced software engineering and cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and robust disaster recovery strategies while mentoring development teams on best practices for cloud migration and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee the deployment of microservices architectures utilizing Java and containerization technologies like Kubernetes (EKS/K8s).
  
• Establish and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software delivery lifecycle and ensure rapid, reliable releases.
  
• Implement comprehensive monitoring and observability frameworks using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry to track system performance.
  
• Architect and enforce security protocols, including Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) configurations, to safeguard cloud assets.
  
• Develop and test strategies for High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and translate business needs into scalable cloud solutions on the AWS platform.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum of six years of professional experience in software development and cloud architecture.
  
• Proven expertise of at least five years specifically working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is mandatory.
  
• Strong proficiency in Java development with a minimum of three years of hands-on experience required.
  
• Demonstrated ability to manage container orchestration using Kubernetes (EKS or standard K8s).
  
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD tools, Helm charts, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
  
• Experience integrating monitoring solutions like Prometheus and Grafana, along with observability standards such as OpenTelemetry.
  
• Deep understanding of cloud security principles, including IAM, VPC networking, and disaster recovery planning.
  
• Competitive compensation package ranging from ₹20 to ₹25 Lakhs per annum.
