Job summary

Acesoft Labs in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer (AWS) to design, build, and scale microservices and REST APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS.

You will deploy backend applications on AWS services like EC2, Lambda, ECS, S3, RDS, and DynamoDB, and manage infrastructure with Terraform or CloudFormation to ensure secure, scalable solutions. The role emphasizes robust testing with JUnit/Mockito and adherence to clean code and SOLID principles.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java 8+ with Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL performance tuning.
• Experience deploying and maintaining microservices on AWS (EC2, Lambda, ECS, API Gateway).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Hands-on testing with JUnit and Mockito; code reviews and documentation.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain microservices and REST APIs using Java (Spring Boot) .
• Deploy and integrate backend apps in AWS (EC2, ECS, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway).
• Manage infrastructure using Terraform or Cloud Formation .
• Ensure scalability , performance , and security of applications.
• Write unit/integration tests (JUnit, Mockito).
• Document technical components and support troubleshooting.

Technical Requirements
