Job summary

Infosys Hyderabad is seeking a talented Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot and Microservices to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and APIs for enterprise-grade solutions.

You will build RESTful services, integrate with internal and external systems, and collaborate with Architects, Product Owners, Frontend Developers, and QA teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java backend development with Spring Boot and microservices.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and integrating with systems.
• Strong SQL skills with Oracle/PostgreSQL/MySQL compatibility.
• Hands-on with build tools (Maven/Gradle) and version control (Git).
• Familiarity with containerization and cloud concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and APIs.
• Build and manage microservices-based solutions for enterprise needs.
• Develop RESTful interfaces and integrate with internal/external systems.
• Write clean, efficient code and participate in code reviews.

• Support CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and security practices.
• Contribute to Agile/Scrum ceremonies and cloud deployment efforts.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Implement robust error handling and observability mechanisms.
