Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is urgently hiring a Java Developer with strong experience in Core Java, Spring, Microservices and SQL. You will work on building robust back-end services, APIs and integration components.

Must have strong OOPS concepts, Java, Spring, Microservices, REST, Git and Jenkins. Good to have DB2, shell scripting or Python; agile practices, writing unit tests and delivering in short sprints are expected.

Qualifications

• Must have strong OOPS concepts including multithreading, collections and exception handling.
• Strong experience in Java, Spring, microservices and REST.
• Hands-on with messaging queues (MQ) and relational DBs; shell scripting or Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Core Java applications with focus on OOP principles.
• Work with Spring frameworks, microservices, REST APIs and integration components.
• Collaborate in Agile teams, write unit tests and ensure code quality.
• Assist in documentation and product readiness in a multi-distributed team.

Must Have : Strong OOPS Concetps, Java, Spring, Microservices, SQL, REST, Git, Jenkins

Good to Have : SQL (preferably DB2), Scripting knowledge (Shell scripting/Python)

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

Experience in writing independent components and writing unit tests .
