Job summary

Acesoft Labs is seeking a Backend Developer to join our Bengaluru team. The role focuses on analysis, design support, coding, testing, deployment and ongoing maintenance of enterprise-grade services and interfaces.

You will work across domains, collaborating with large teams, following established methodologies and standards. Strong Java, Spring Boot, API and SQL skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in backend development.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Ability to work with large teams and communicate effectively.
• Experience in enterprise-scale application development is essential.

Responsibilities

• Participate in programming and application development including file design, update, storage, and retrieval.
• Maintain developed solutions on an ongoing basis.
• Formulate concepts, define system scope and objectives based on user needs with strong communication skills.
• Enhance processes to resolve operational problems and add new functions considering constraints.
• Follow existing development methodology and coding standards; ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• May guide various groups on application systems activities.

Description: Backend Developer

• Analysis of requirements, support of the design, development of the code, testing, debugging, deployment, and maintenance of those programs and interfaces. Documentation of the work
• Participation in most aspects of programming and application development, including file design, update, storage, and retrieval
• Ability to maintain the developed solution on an on-going basis is essential
• Formulate concepts, define system scope and technical objectives based on user needs (requires very good written and verbal communication skills, ability to easily grasp business concepts, and possesses skills to build a vision)
• Enhance processes to resolve operational problems and add new functions taking into consideration schedule, resource constraints, process complexity, dependencies, assumptions and application structure
• Candidate is required to follow the existing development methodology and coding standards, and ensure compliance with the internal and external regulatory requirements
• May guide various groups on application systems activities

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Mandatory technical Skills

• Experience using multiple programming languages to include - Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, JSON, XML, SQL(MySQL) Distributed System, Design, JavaScript, JSON, Hibernate, JPA
• Experience in designing & developing Web Services, API's and interfaces.
• Java EE technologies/components and Java EE (Enterprise Edition). Spring/Spring Boot.
• Experience in UI development to include React JS, HTML5, CSS3 and XML.
• Coding and Design Patterns.
• Experience in DevOps Tools (GitHub, Azure DevOps etc)
• Experience in Azure (AKS, Azure Functions, App Services, Event Hubs etc.)
• Experience in caching mechanism (Redis etc)
• Knowledge and experience working in SCRUM/AGILE environments using JIRA

Intermediate to expert knowledge required in the following areas:

• System development lifecycle, processes and method
