Job summary

Vertical Relevance is seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Java, Spring/Spring Boot, and microservices. The role focuses on delivering robust RESTful APIs in a cloud environment with AWS.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure performance, security, and reliability. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Java, Spring frameworks, microservices, and AWS, plus familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL)

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Java (8/11/17).
• Expertise in Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Proven experience building and deploying microservices.
• Solid understanding of RESTful services and API design.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ (optional).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Strong problem-solving skills in agile environments.

Responsibilities
