Job summary

Allyted Solutions is seeking an Experienced Java & AWS Technical Lead to guide the design and delivery of scalable, cloud-native enterprise applications. You will provide technical direction to engineering teams and drive architecture, development, and delivery across Java/Spring Boot and AWS.

Lead the design of microservices and REST APIs, leveraging AWS services such as EKS/ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, and CloudWatch.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with hands-on coding in Java 17+ and AWS.
• Experience with AWS services: API Gateway, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, CloudWatch.
• Strong understanding of Event-Driven Architecture and API design patterns.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, development, and delivery of Java/Spring Boot and AWS solutions.
• Design microservices, REST APIs, event-driven and cloud-native architectures.
• Drive use of AWS services including EKS/ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, and CloudWatch.
• Provide technical leadership, conduct code/design reviews, and mentor engineering teams.
• Drive CI/CD, DevOps, security, performance, scalability, and reliability best practices.
• Collaborate with architects, product teams, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Support technical solutioning, estimation, POCs, and application modernization initiatives.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of Event-Driven Architecture and API Design Patterns.
• Experience with AWS CloudWatch, Log Insights, and log analytics for distributed tracing and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding and implementation experience with OAuth 2.0 authentication and authorization.
• Experience with Microservices, REST APIs, distributed systems, and messaging.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, SQL/NoSQL databases, and cloud-native development.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor development teams.
