Java Technical Lead (9–12 Years Experience) Location: Bangalore, India

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Technical Lead with 9–12 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and delivering enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Java, Microservices, Spring Boot, cloud technologies, and modern software development practices. The role requires leading a team of developers, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring successful project delivery while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable and high-performance enterprise applications.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to define technical solutions.
• Drive application architecture, design reviews, and code quality initiatives.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and Microservices-based applications.
• Participate in requirement analysis, effort estimation, sprint planning, and project execution.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and establish CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root cause analysis.
• Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge-sharing activities.

Required Skills & Experience

9–12 years of software development experience with strong expertise in Java/J2EE technologies. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a Technical Lead role. Strong experience with: Java 8/11/17 Spring Boot Spring MVC Spring Security Hibernate/JPA Microservices Architecture RESTful Web Services Experience with messaging frameworks such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ. Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB). Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. Strong understanding of design patterns, data structures, and system design principles. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience in distributed systems and event-driven architecture. Exposure to API Gateway, Service Mesh, and Observability tools. Knowledge of Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevOps practices. Experience with SonarQube, JUnit, Mockito, and performance tuning. Domain experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Retail, or Healthcare is a plus.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
