Job summary

Iris Software Inc. is hiring a senior Java backend developer in Noida to build scalable enterprise applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, and microservices. You will define API contracts, drive integration strategies, and deliver secure, high-quality software.

Responsibilities include end-to-end module ownership, code reviews, performance optimization, and CI/CD improvements, with mentoring of junior developers. Strong Java fundamentals and AWS experience are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of Experience in Java development.
• Proficiency in Core Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with AWS, databases, and RESTful services.
• Strong knowledge of design patterns, data structures, and multithreading.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable enterprise applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Define API contracts, service boundaries, and integration strategies for distributed and enterprise-grade systems.
• Develop reusable backend components and enterprise services following clean architecture and secure coding practices.
• Optimize application performance through caching, asynchronous processing, database tuning, and JVM optimization.
• Own end-to-end delivery of assigned modules including design, development, testing support, and deployment readiness.
• Conduct code reviews ensuring adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Design event-driven architectures and asynchronous communication mechanisms to improve system scalability and resilience.
• Drive improvements in CI/CD pipelines, logging, monitoring, and deployment automation to improve operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot production issues and performance bottlenecks by performing detailed root cause analysis and implementing sustainable fixes.
• Mentor junior developers on coding standards, debugging techniques, and modern Java development practices.
