Job summary

IATOCS in India is seeking a senior software architect to design scalable, reliable enterprise architectures using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices. You will crafting REST APIs and drive integration with internal and third-party systems.

The role emphasizes cloud-native solutions on AWS (Lambda, EC2, SQS, DynamoDB), setting coding standards, mentoring teams, and leading architecture reviews, troubleshooting, and production support.

Responsibilities

• Design and define scalable, reliable, and secure enterprise application architectures.
• Lead the design and development of Java-based applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
• Define architectural standards, design patterns, coding guidelines, and best practices.
• Design RESTful APIs and integrate applications with internal and third-party systems.
• Develop cloud-native solutions using AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, SQS, DynamoDB, and other relevant services.
• Evaluate technology stacks and recommend appropriate tools and frameworks.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, availability, maintainability, and security.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, developers, QA teams, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Review technical designs, code quality, and implementation approaches.
• Identify technical risks and provide effective architectural solutions.
• Mentor developers and technical leads and support engineering teams.
• Participate in architecture reviews, troubleshooting, deployment planning, and production support.
