Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Kolkata seeks a Java architect to design cloud-native, microservices-based enterprise applications capable of high-volume transactions and seamless ecosystem integration.

You will define end-to-end architecture with Java, Spring Boot and API-first design, drive DevSecOps, scalability, security and maintainability across AWS/Azure/GCP, and mentor delivery teams.

Qualifications

• 10-12 years of software engineering experience with 4+ years in Architecture roles.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices and Distributed Systems.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines and Cloud Platforms.
• Ensure compliance with WCAG, ADA, GDPR, OWASP and enterprise security standards.
• Knowledge on non-functional architecture including scalability, security, accessibility and maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end architecture using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices and API-first design principles.
• Design scalable, resilient, secure, extensible and cloud-native solutions on AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Define integration architecture for enterprise systems, third-party platforms and SaaS products.
• Lead architecture reviews, governance, technical standards and development best practices.
• Drive DevSecOps, CI/CD, observability, automation and containerization strategies.
• Ensure high availability, performance, disaster recovery and operational resilience.

• 10-12 years of software engineering experience with 4+ years in Architecture roles.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices and Distributed Systems.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines and Cloud Platforms.
