Amazon is seeking motivated and hardworking individuals to fill an IT Logistics Coordinator position. This role provides support for IT Offices throughout the region. The successful candidate should have basic organizational and team-oriented philosophy, problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate under high pressure, handle multiple priorities, and maintain professionalism. Commitment to deadlines, clear documentation skills, and experience in procurement, inventory, and asset management of IT equipment are essential. Superior technical aptitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to deal effectively with people at different levels are required. The candidate should focus on big-picture solutions rather than minor details and be highly motivated and organized to work independently.

Key job responsibilities

1. Develop efficient processes and metrics for monitoring and reporting logistics vendor performance, including risk management.
2. Track and report all payables and receivables for PAN India shipping sites.
3. Identify opportunities for efficiency gains and cost savings; present recommendations to internal partners.
4. Guide team members in resolving escalations and queries, provide feedback, and make data-driven decisions.
5. Escalate data variances and follow up on resolutions to improve team performance.
6. Conduct data analysis to close process gaps and improve procedures.
7. Maintain knowledge of relevant policies to ensure accurate solutions.
8. Coordinate with stakeholders for efficient team operations.
9. Document SOPs and ensure compliance.
10. Communicate proactively with leadership to prevent disruptions and address risks.

Success in this role requires supply chain experience, analytical skills, and understanding of logistics. Industry expertise, regulatory knowledge, and problem-solving abilities are also crucial.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, charts, lookups, formulas, data cleansing, etc.)
• Experience managing large data sets to improve performance and processes

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years in program management, logistics, operations, or supply chain
• Experience with SQL
