Job summary

NIIT Foundation in Ludhiana invites applications for a dedicated IT Trainer to empower underprivileged learners by delivering basic to intermediate computer education. The role focuses on practical, job‑oriented training that improves digital literacy and employability.

You will conduct sessions on MS Office, Internet usage, and basic IT concepts; develop beginner‑friendly materials; assess progress; and help learners build resumes for entry‑level IT roles.

Qualifications

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of computers and IT applications.
• Good communication and teaching skills.
• Ability to simplify technical concepts for beginners.
• Patience and empathy while working with learners from diverse backgrounds.
• Graduate or diploma in IT/Computer Science (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Conduct training sessions on basic computer skills (MS Office, Internet usage, Email, etc.).
• Teach fundamental IT concepts such as hardware, software, and digital tools.
• Develop and deliver easy-to-understand training materials suited for beginners.
• Assess students’ learning progress and provide continuous feedback.
• Support students in building resumes and preparing for basic IT-related job roles.
• Maintain attendance & batch records and training reports.
• Ensure proper usage and maintenance of computer lab equipment.
• Encourage participation and create an inclusive learning environment.
