Qualifications

• Experience with Selenium WebDriver using Java.
• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
• REST API testing using Postman/SoapUI.

• Git-based version control (Git, Bitbucket).
• SQL and database validation.
• Defect/test management with JIRA/ADO; Agile/Scrum exposure.

We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Katalon Studio, Java, and Selenium. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks to ensure high-quality software delivery. Experience in performance testing and the U.S. Healthcare domain will be an added advantage.

Job Description

• Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts aligned with manual test cases to maximize test coverage and improve testing efficiency.
• Establish baseline execution times for manual test cases, compare them with automated execution, and document automation efficiency and ROI metrics.
• Execute automated test suites regularly and ensure test results are accurately tracked, analyzed, reported, and communicated to stakeholders.
• Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps, expected and actual results, and supporting evidence. Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to drive defects to resolution.
• Ensure adherence to organizational QA processes, automation coding standards, security guidelines, and industry best practices.
• Integrate and execute automated tests through CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.
• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for test cases, automation scripts, test data, frameworks, and execution results to support audits and knowledge sharing.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate effectively with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance automation coverage, execution efficiency, and overall QA processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all organizational policies, procedures, and standards.
• Good to have: Experience with AI-powered development and testing technologies such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Large Language Models (LLMs) to improve productivity, test coverage, and automation efficiency.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Katalon Studio and Katalon Runtime Engine (KRE).
• Strong understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.
• Strong understanding of Java concepts is a must.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver using Java.
• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
• Experience in REST API testing using tools such as Postman and/or SoapUI.
• Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.
• Good understanding of Git-based version control systems, including Git and Bitbucket.
• Experience with SQL and database validation.
• Experience with defect and test management tools such as JIRA and Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Experience with GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted software development/testing tools.
• Good to have: Experience working in the U.S. Healthcare domain, including familiarity with healthcare applications, workflows, or standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
