Job summary

Conduent is seeking an IT Test Engineer I to join our software testing team. You will design and execute test scenarios from business requirements and validate that the product aligns with customer needs.

Responsibilities include reviewing test cases, creating test data, running tests, documenting results, and reporting defects while coordinating with onshore/offshore teams as needed. A BE/BSc or equivalent with testing training is required.

Qualifications

• 0.6 to 3 years’ experience in functional testing.
• BE/BSc degree or equivalent experience required.
• Certification, formal training in software testing or related fields preferred.

Job Description-

IT Test Engineer I :

We are currently seeking highly skilled software testers to join our team. In this position, you will create and execute scenarios based on business requirements and validate the product works as per business requirements and customer needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Analyzes requirements, coordinates with BA’s / Subject Matter Experts.
• Identifies test conditions and / or creates test cases.
• Conducts and/or participates in peer reviews of test cases and test plans.
• Creates / Conditions test data for test execution.
• Executes tests according to the Test Plans.
• Documents test results and report defects.
• Evaluates test results.
• Retests, validates and closes applicable issue type as appropriate.
• Validates release notes.
• Submits daily status report.
• Identifies and reports risks.
• Coordinates Onshore / Offshore as needed.
• All assigned courses pertaining to new technical / domain / learning tasks are accomplished within defined time frame.

Education and Other Credentials

• BE /BSc Degree or equivalent experience
• Certification, formal training in software testing and related fields

Skills And Qualifications

• 0.6 to 3 years’ experience in functional testing
• HealthCare background is a plus.
• Experience working in TFS or similar tools .
• Knowledge of Automation tools would be plus.
• Knowledge of quality assurance policies and procedures and general Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) principles.
• Demonstrated ability to visualize and create end-to-end test scenarios along with functional and Regression test plans.
• Experience with MS SQL Server, Oracle and proficiency in writing SQL Queries.
• Strong software troubleshooting and software problem analysis skills
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple activities with changing priorities simultaneously and upscale risks.
• Competency to utilize Company software and proficiency in Microsoft software applications and willingness to learn new systems as necessary.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and Fast Paced Environment.
• Ability to function as a team player and to be a self-starter.
