Job summary

Digitex Technologies in Kolkata is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide first‑level technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software, and ensure smooth operation of IT systems across the organization. The role requires 1–2 years of IT support experience, a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT/CS, and solid knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, networking, and Microsoft 365.

You will assist with onboarding, asset tracking, and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in IT support/desktop support roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, laptop, printer, scanner, and peripheral device problems.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and IT equipment.
• Handle issues related to desktops, headphones, internet connectivity, and other IT accessories.
• Perform system maintenance, updates, and basic troubleshooting.
• Support employee onboarding by setting up systems, email IDs, and required software access.
• Maintain IT asset records and track hardware allocation.
• Coordinate with external vendors or senior IT teams for unresolved issues.
• Ensure timely resolution of technical tickets and user requests.
