Job summary

Brueckner Group India seeks an IT Support Specialist to advise customers on IT-system related issues, install and configure servers and storage, and monitor running IT systems in Navi Mumbai.

You will provide 1st-level support via phone, email, and remote access, assist with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), backups, and document processes; willingness to travel nationally and internationally is required.

Qualifications

• Experience installing and configuring Windows/Linux servers.
• Knowledge of virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Experience with network infrastructure (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with backup and recovery.
• Strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities:

• Consulting customers in all IT-system-related technical matters


• Providing 1st-level support via telephone, email, and remote access


• Installing and configuring IT infrastructure (servers, workstations, storage systems)


• Monitoring and maintaining running IT systems


• Supporting network infrastructure and connectivity


• Virtualizing IT systems (servers and workstations)


• Managing backup and recovery of data and systems


• Analyzing and solving technical problems, managing service operations


• Collecting and maintaining service-related data


• Preparing, coordinating, or executing service operations


• Commissioning systems and training customers


• Communicating with sub-suppliers and international representatives


• Contributing to development of service products and spare parts replacements


• Configuring and testing spare parts; supporting processing


• Creating internal service documentation and customer documentation


• Collaborating in IT systems architecture and design

Technical Competencies:
