Job summary

IT Support Guy is seeking a motivated IT Support Engineer (3 to 6 Months Experience) for a remote role. You will provide basic IT support, troubleshoot issues, and assist in configuring and maintaining IT systems.

Ideal candidates communicate well in English, have a basic understanding of servers, networks, VMware, Cisco, and cybersecurity concepts, and are eager to learn and grow in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills in English (Mandatory)
• Basic knowledge of IT support and troubleshooting; basic understanding of servers and networking
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware, Cisco networking, and cybersecurity concepts (basic level)
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Responsibilities

• Provide basic technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
• Troubleshoot system, email, and user access problems
• Assist in installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems
• Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure and user systems remotely
• Help users with password resets, system access, and general IT issues
• Assist in basic network troubleshooting (LAN/WAN)
• Work with virtualization platforms such as VMware (basic tasks)
• Support basic Cisco networking tasks and troubleshooting
• Assist in implementing and maintaining cybersecurity best practices
• Maintain documentation of issues, solutions, and IT procedures
