Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules and resource strategies.
• Manage multiple concurrent software development projects.
• Ensure on-time delivery of milestones and releases.
• Track progress and address delays or bottlenecks.
• Serve as primary client/stakeholder contact and provide regular updates.
• Coordinate with Product Owners, Analysts, Developers, QA, DevOps, and Architects.
• Lead Agile ceremonies and manage backlogs and priorities.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans; resolve blockers.
• Forecast staffing needs and control project budgets/utilization.
• Ensure quality metrics, documentation, and release readiness.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven IT Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of software development projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing cross-functional teams, client communication, project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and Agile delivery methodologies.

The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining high quality standards and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Delivery

• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
• Manage multiple concurrent software development projects.
• Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and releases.
• Track project progress and proactively address delays or bottlenecks.

Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
• Conduct project status meetings, sprint reviews, and steering committee discussions.
• Gather and clarify business requirements.
• Manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide regular project updates, reports, and dashboards.

Team Management

• Coordinate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and Architects.
• Assign tasks and monitor team performance.
• Facilitate collaboration across technical and business teams.
• Mentor team members and support professional growth.
• Resolve team conflicts and remove project impediments.

Agile Project Management

• Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies including:
• Sprint Planning
• Daily Standups
• Sprint Reviews
• Retrospectives
• Manage project backlogs and sprint priorities.
• Ensure adherence to Agile best practices.
• Work closely with Product Owners to prioritize features and enhancements.

Risk & Issue Management

• Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Escalate critical issues when necessary.
• Monitor project dependencies and resource constraints.
• Ensure timely resolution of project blockers.

Budget & Resource Management

• Manage project budgets and resource utilization.
• Forecast staffing needs and project costs.
• Monitor project profitability and delivery efficiency.
• Optimize team allocation to maximize productivity.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to software development standards and best practices.
• Monitor quality metrics and project KPIs.
• Support UAT, release planning, and production deployments.
• Ensure project documentation is maintained and updated.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in IT Project Management.
• Proven track record of delivering enterprise software development projects.
• Experience managing distributed and offshore teams.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
