We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager with around 6 years of relevant experience in managing IT projects. The ideal candidate should have proven hands-on experience in project coordination and delivery, with a good understanding of IT systems, software development processes and project management methodologies.

The role involves planning, executing, monitoring and closing projects within defined timelines and budgets while ensuring quality delivery and customer satisfaction. The candidate will work closely with internal teams, clients and vendors to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Execution

Manage IT projects from initiation to closure, define project scope, goals, timelines, milestones and deliverables.

Prepare project plans, schedules and execution strategies and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.

2. Stakeholder Management

Act as a single point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, coordinate with business teams, technical teams and vendors.

Provide regular project status updates, reports, identify dependencies and manage critical paths.

3. Resource Management

Plan and allocate project resources effectively and coordinate tasks across cross-functional teams.

Ensure clarity in roles, responsibilities, deliverables, track team performance and productivity.

4. Risk & Issue Management

Identify project risks and issues proactively, develop and implement risk mitigation plans.

Monitor risks throughout the project lifecycle and escape issues when required to ensure timely resolution.

5. Quality Assurance

Ensure project deliverables meet defined quality standards and follow project management best practices and internal processes.

Conduct project reviews, post implementation evaluations and support continuous improvement initiatives.

7. Change Management

Manage scope, schedule, resource changes and ensure change requests are properly documented and approved and communicate changes clearly to all stakeholders.

8. Documentation & Compliance

Maintain complete project documentation, project plans, status reports, risk registers, meeting minutes and ensure compliance with company policies and delivery standards.

Requirements:

Certification: Certifications such as Agile, Scrum Master, ITIL, or PRINCE2 (Foundation) are a plus.

Technical Skills: Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), application development and maintenance, system integration concepts, IT infrastructure basics

Project Management Tools: Hands on experience with tools such as JIRA, MS project, Asana, Trello.

Soft Skills: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, good analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong organizational and multitasking skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, team-oriented mind-set with leadership capabilities.
