Overview
The IT Project Manager will oversee and drive the successful execution of technology projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, regulatory compliance. The role involves coordinating with stakeholders, managing budgets, mitigating risks, and implementing IT solutions in hospitals, clinics, or healthcare enterprises.
Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Execution: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business goals; develop project timelines and resource plans; ensure projects meet healthcare industry standards (HIPAA, GDPR, NABH, HL7, etc.).
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with healthcare professionals, IT teams, vendors, and senior management; conduct meetings and status updates with key stakeholders; manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
- Risk Management & Compliance: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies; ensure compliance with data security, privacy laws, and healthcare IT standards; monitor and evaluate project performance using KPIs and reporting tools.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Management, or a related field; 5-8 years of experience in IT project management, preferably in healthcare IT.
- Technical & Project Management Skills: Proficiency in IT project management tools (JIRA); knowledge of healthcare IT systems, data security, and cloud-based solutions; strong understanding of healthcare regulations and standards (HIPAA, HL7, DICOM, FHIR) will be an advantage.
