• Good understanding of Software Costing and negotiation, SDLC concepts.
• Proven experience in continuous cost saving and opex cost reductions
• Interact with technology teams on requirements and understanding
• Good understanding of Software licensing models & contract terms to derive best value.
• License Procurement and Optimization with OEMs in Enterprise IT landscape.
• Negotiate and procure software licenses; optimize to maximize utilization and cut costs.
• Maintain a comprehensive inventory of software licenses and documentation.
• Track license details, renewal dates and maintenance contracts.
• License Compliance - monitor usage and act on unauthorized software.
• Program/Project management experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Good understanding of Software Costing and negotiation, Software Development Life Cycle and application development concepts.
• Proven experience in continuous cost saving and opex cost reductions
• Should be able to comfortably interact with technology teams on requirements and understanding
• Good understanding of Software licensing models & contract terms to derive best value.
• Quick Learner with strong analytical stills.
• Experience in handling major OEMs in Enterprise IT landscape License Procurement and Optimization.
• Negotiate and procure software licenses. Optimize software licenses to maximize utilization, reduce costs and eliminate redundancies.
• Software Inventory and documentation: Maintain a comprehensive inventory of software license.
• Keep accurate records of license details, purchase agreements, renewal dates and maintenance contracts.
• License Compliance - Track usage, lease and follow up with stakeholders to understand the utilization, either to purchase or check for removal of unauthorized software.
• Proven track record in project/program management.

Secondary Responsibilities:

• collaborates with various stakeholders, including internal/external IT teams, legal team, contract management, IT Infra and application teams to implement best license practices and drive operational efficiency.
