Pinnacle FutureBuild Pvt Ltd is seeking an IT Manager to join our IT team in Madurai and Durgapur. The role focuses on ensuring Infotech infrastructure runs smoothly 24x7, with responsibilities spanning servers, networks, security, and vendor management.

Ideal candidates have 7–8 years of Server & Network Administration experience, strong engineering know-how, and CCNP/CCNA/MCSA/AWS certifications. This position requires coordinating across locations and driving IT initiatives.

Qualifications

• 7–8 years of Server & Network Admin experience.

Responsibilities

• Fully support, install, configure, integrate, maintain, update, upgrade and manage PIS networks and in-house servers/new server hardware and applications.
• Manage network servers and technology tools.
• Set up accounts and workstations.
• Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls.
• Responsible for device and password management.
• Support and administer third-party applications.
• Oversee data backup and system security operations (e.g., user authorization, firewalls).
• Ensure network security and connectivity.
• Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses.
• Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords.
• Define network policies, procedures and practices.
• Specify system requirements and design solutions.
• Assess system performance and recommend improvements.
• Ensure data is handled, transferred or processed according to legal and company guidelines.
• Control costs and budgets regarding IT systems.
• Manage contracts with vendors (e.g., development platforms, telecommunication companies, password managers) and software licenses.
• Develop IT policies and practices.
• Research best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server & network infrastructure, and recommend upgrades to PIS existing practices.

Desired Skills / Qualitative Requirements

• Requisite qualification and/or experience as a Server & Network Administrator, or a similar role.
• Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management.
• Hands-on experience in networking, routing and switching.
• Experience with firewalls, Internet VPNs, remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
• Knowledge of system security (e.g., intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery.
• Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms, along with backup and recovery software and methodologies.
• Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Any Degree with minimum 7-8 years’ experience as a Server & Network Administrator preferred.

Remarks If Any

• Must have the certifications of CCNP, CCNA, MCSA, AWS.
