Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
• At least 3 years in a lead or managerial role.
• Preferred certifications: CCNA, Microsoft 365 / MCSA, firewall certification (e.g., Fortinet NSE), ITIL.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial organisation will be preferred.
• Should be based in, or willing to work from, Bilaspur, Gurugram.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hardware procurement, deployment, and asset management.
• Install, license, and patch software; ensure license compliance.
• Manage Windows client/server OS deployments and updates.
• Administer network printers, drivers, and scanning devices.
• Configure firewall rules, VPN, and security logs.
• Deploy endpoint protection, patching, and data protection.
• Manage user onboarding/offboarding and IT helpdesk.
• Design and monitor LAN/WAN, switches, routers, VLANs, and ISP links.
• Configure Wi-Fi access points and guest networks.
• Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, backups.
• Support ERP and CAD software; coordinate with vendors.
• Manage Microsoft 365: Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, MFA, security.
• Define IT policies, budgets, and vendor/AMC management; report risks to management.

Position: IT Manager

Grade / Level: Manager

Experience Required: 8 – 12 Years

Key Responsibilities

• Hardware Management: Manage procurement, deployment, upkeep and repair of desktops, laptops, servers and peripherals; maintain the IT asset register, warranty/AMC records and plan timely upgrades.
• Software Installation & Management: Install, configure, update and license all software; ensure licence compliance, version control and timely patching.
• Operating Systems: Install, configure, image, upgrade and troubleshoot Windows client and server operating systems across the organisation.
• Printer Management: Manage network printers, scanners and plotters, including drivers, print sharing, consumables and vendor service.
• Firewall Management: Configure and monitor the firewall – rules, policies, VPN, web/content filtering and firmware updates – and review security logs regularly.
• Endpoint Management: Deploy and manage antivirus/EDR, patch management, USB/device control and data protection on all endpoints.
• User Management: Handle user onboarding/offboarding, accounts, access rights and password policies; run the IT helpdesk and provide timely user support.
• LAN / WAN / Network Management: Design, maintain and monitor LAN/WAN, switches, routers, structured cabling, VLANs and ISP links with failover to ensure maximum uptime across office, plant and project sites.
• Access Point (Wi-Fi) Management: Configure and manage wireless access points/controllers, SSIDs and guest access, ensuring reliable coverage across the office and plant floor.
• Server Management (AD Server): Administer Windows Server and Active Directory – domain, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file server – along with data backup and disaster recovery.
• Business Software Management: Support and maintain user and company-based software such as ERP/accounting, design (CAD) and production/machine software (e.g., Tulus on the automated sheet-metal lines), coordinating with vendors where needed.
• Microsoft 365 Administration: Manage the M365 tenant – user licences, Exchange Online mailboxes, Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive, MFA and security/compliance policies.
• IT Governance & Vendors: Define IT policies and documentation, manage the IT budget, vendors and AMCs, and report IT status and risks to management.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong hands-on knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy
• Microsoft 365 administration – Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive, Intune
• Networking – TCP/IP, VLANs, routing & switching, VPN; firewall experience (Fortinet, Sophos, SonicWall or similar)
• Endpoint security, antivirus/EDR, patch management and backup tools
• Hardware troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, servers, printers and network devices
• Wireless access point and controller configuration
• Supporting ERP and business applications in a manufacturing environment
• IT asset management, documentation, budgeting and vendor management
• Problem-solving, clear communication and ability to lead IT support across multiple sites

• B.E./B.Tech (IT/CS/ECE), BCA/MCA, B.Sc (IT) or equivalent
• 8 – 12 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 3 years in a lead or managerial role
