Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a senior IT infrastructure programme manager for a permanent role in Mumbai. You will lead end-to-end IT infrastructure projects, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to deliver on time and within scope.

The role involves budget management, risk mitigation, and ensuring compliance with industry standards within a regulated environment. The successful candidate has 10+ years of delivering complex IT infra programmes, strong vendor management experience,

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years delivering complex IT infrastructure projects in large or regulated organisations.
• Strong track record delivering via outsourced/ managed-service partners, not in-house builds.
• Proficient in project/programme management methods (PMP/PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum/Waterfall).
• Experience across cloud (Azure/AWS), networks, M365, identity and security.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Manage IT infrastructure projects from start to finish.
• Work closely with internal teams and external vendors.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Monitor project progress and address any issues.
• Prepare reports and updates for stakeholders.
• Manage project budgets and resources efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum 10+ years delivering complex IT infrastructure projects and programmes, ideally in a large or regulated organisation, with a degree in a technology or related field.
• A strong track record of delivering through outsourced or managed-service partners and system integrators, rather than an in-house build team.
• Deep command of project and programme management methods, including PMP or PRINCE2 and Agile, Scrum or waterfall, and of the tooling: Microsoft Project, Jira or Azure DevOps, and ServiceNow.
• Delivery experience across infrastructure domains: cloud on Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services, networks, workplace and Microsoft 365, identity and security.
• Strong RAID, dependency, budget and schedule management, with clear reporting and decision papers for senior and board audiences, including PowerPoint.
• A sound understanding of risk and compliance in a regulated setting, including IRDAI, the DPDP Act, DORA and Allianz Group governance.
• Clear, senior communication and the ability to drive multiple providers and stakeholders to a deadline.
